How We Started

Real Heart Story began with a handful of writers who met working in international media and broadcasting. We had spent years around newsrooms and production desks, and we kept coming back to the same quiet frustration: the stories that moved us most, the ones about ordinary people, the betrayals and the reunions and the small unnoticed kindnesses, almost never made the news.

So we decided to tell them ourselves. Today our writers each bring their own voice and the things they care about most, from tender family stories to hard-won second chances, and you can read a little about each of them on their author pages.
